Depending on which year the car is; it is either Philips Eco or Toshiba's.

The housing cracking should not have anything to do with the bulbs assuming the proper wattage (35W) is used.

Not that expensive. Can get them from XenonDepot with CL discount for cheap for the stock Philips bulb. Now if one is willing to spend, then you could step up to the Philips Ultinon 6000K bulb.

if you had stock halogens just go get like some slyvania bulbs or something i am sure they wont void the warranty for you changing headlight brands. people change standard headlight bulbs all the time. i thought you were trying to get some stock hid bulbs. halogen bulbs can be had for 19.99 and up for a decent brand

They will always find a reason to void or refuse to fix your warranty claim. Your best bet would be replacing it with some cheap Sylvania halogens before bringing it to the dealer.

I hope they replace it with 2012 headlights

NO drilling, glue etc. done to housing??
You only replaced bulbs.

Play it safe! Tell dad's friend to buy OEM from dealer with his discount. NOt a bad investment if you are getting new headlight/s replaced. You may be able to return bubls to dealer (not sure) if they don't replace headlight/s. Just saying!

Good luck

We carry original Philips D4S bulbs for a much lower price than the dealership. It's unfortunately but dealerships always look for something to blame...
