I made my family disappear. Kevin McCallister. Lol. Jk. I have no kids but engaged to be married. My fiancé hates that I spend money on my car, but I tell her it could be worse. I could be the strip club making it rain. 😁

Happily married 5 years, just had our first born she's 4 months old and two boxers.

I have the IS350, lifted and skidded LJ Rubicon and 1987 Mustang GT with a bunch of work...

Three things that have worked over the years to get away with having a fam and y car obsession:

1) Set the expectations early (told her before we got married that I will never cheat, have a gambling or drug addition, but i will be obsessed with my rides, so deal)
2) Whatever i buy for my rides costs x2 (If i want to spend $1,000 on my car the wife gets something for ab that price first so she cant get upset when parts start showing up and i remind her of what she just got)
3) I do all the work to all of them myself after everyone goes to sleep or 1 weekend day. Most of my wrenching time is between 10pm- 2am...

You guys are making me feel old today, married 32 years to the same woman, Three kids, 30, 28 and 27 two boys and girl. I'll be 55 next month and work about 60-65 hours a week average. Spending my money on travel right now not any mods. I will wait to do mods till the vert is a little older as she is my new baby. Traveling to China next month for 3 weeks can't wait, but I will miss my baby.

Married here with two step kids 7 year old boy and 12 year old girl and a baby girl due July 11th. I get time to clean the car up on the weekends. That is if I'm not mowing or doing house stuff. I don't have money to mod the car due to having two sportbikes to mod. The car stays stock for quit a while.
