Cool upgrade..!!!
Besides the mentioned issues with the Oil Temp flashing bar & the S / M Mode gear read out..
I did notice a couple of other things...
(In Auto)
The IS-F redline shift is at approx 6,800 Rpms... While an IS250/350 redline shift is at approx. 6,600 Rpms
In the video I noticed the IS250 was shifted at 7,700 Rpms... (I guess in manual mode?)
&
In the video I noticed the digital read out of Km/h did NOT match the needles read out... (Could have been camera angle.. ??)
Either way, its a nice upgrade if you can deal with the small issues..
Another bonus is that this particular (11-12') cluster has no AFS indicator light.. LoL
Not sure that I could consider this as an "LFA Style".. Unless you want to count the Large RPM lay out..
Otherwise there is really nothing LFA about it.. (in my honest opinion)
You also lose the ability to set your SPEED & RPM color indicator rings... Since the IS-F's do not have that feature.
The same known issues are present when you install the older 2008-2010 IS-F cluster, in any year IS250 / IS350..

Just had a look at Lexus Canada and Japan's site. As you can see in the links below, the needle is pointing properly at 0.

Maybe the OP can give us another view of it from a differnet angle of the analog read out more staright on.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I had absolutely no intention of misleading anyone with the mention of "LFA style" in both my video and title of this thread. My apologies If I have offended or insulted any of you by any means. I blurted "LFA style" based on a couple reviews I read prior to.
Live and let live....
I too noticed the analog needle in the video appeared to have not been in sync with the digi display. I have since driven the car and observed the gauges, the camera angle was definitely the culprit. I will post another video at my earliest convenience.

Actually it's more like the needle did not match the Km/h digital read out at all. I wonder if this is a new cluster? Right in the video right off the start, the needle was not pointing at 0, but more like passed it. Seems to look more like a defect than at an angle.

Thank you sir!
Not sure if you've looked into the oil temperature gauge issue, but it's actually a very simple circuit, just 2 wires to the temperature sender (30 kΩ or higher at 0°C (32°F), 0.3 kΩ with the engine oil temperature is 155°C (311°F)).
I'd either order the IS F sensor and get it mounted in your pan and wire it up, or if you are feeling like you really don't care about it, put a resistor in or something so that it just reads normally I guess.
I wonder what the IS F cluster would do with a manual transmission, lol. It would probably be best to just open the cluster and disconnect that display portion if you were going to put it in a car with MT.

THAT'S PIMP! I too am curious what could be the cause of that "S" mode functionality. Also, a buddy of mine is good with electronics and such and he mentioned that the oil temp gauge can get a feed from the other engine temp wire and it should theoretically work....can't guarantee that as we have NOT tried it. Good luck man, and SICK mod!
