Very nice and congrats also besides the "S" mode there is a problem with the coolant temp reading being not able to read on a IS vs IS-F?

Looks very cool - I like!!!

Question though....I'm not positive but isn't the redline lower on the is-f vs the is? If so, does the cluster therefore limit your total power output? Or does it allow you to rev past the redline?

Rev limit is set by the engine computer, not the gauge cluster.

Also, the IS F redline is higher than the ISx50.

Not sure if you've looked into the oil temperature gauge issue, but it's actually a very simple circuit, just 2 wires to the temperature sender (30 kΩ or higher at 0°C (32°F), 0.3 kΩ with the engine oil temperature is 155°C (311°F)).

I'd either order the IS F sensor and get it mounted in your pan and wire it up, or if you are feeling like you really don't care about it, put a resistor in or something so that it just reads normally I guess.

I wonder what the IS F cluster would do with a manual transmission, lol. It would probably be best to just open the cluster and disconnect that display portion if you were going to put it in a car with MT.

I've always liked this mod since forum moderator JavyLSU did it a few years ago.

Seems like a good mod. Jeff mentioned about the oil temp, once that's sorted out, it should be fine. I would probably perfer S mode to be working.

One thing I do question and wonder - what about the ODO programming part?

I'm not sure about the older IS-F cluster but I believe the S-Mode may of not worked in that one either.

Below of video using IS-F Canadian cluster in US IS250.
