I’ve got to remove the center third brake light to clean off tint glue and then get the rear window properly tinted. I’ve searched the threads to no end…..only found info on how to remove older lights. I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time pushing and pulling this thing in every direction, with no success. There doesn’t appear to be access from the trunk either. What the heck is the secret combination?

Did you look in the trunk to see if there are screws in the back at the top?

I believe it's in the liner because I have a CHSML install kit which has instructions on how to install one for people who don't have this.

For one thing, you don't need to remove the CHSML to get it tinted because there is clearance to be able to clean and install assuming one has the proper tools because I got my F-Sport tinted and the installer had no issues.

I did pull down the liner in the trunk and there did not appear to be any bolts from underneath.

I know there is some clearance, but there is glue on the window from a prior tint job and it's too hard to clean off without removing the light.

Mine too also had a prior tint job but it was not an issue. The installer has tools which can get in the tight areas in question. You may need to obtain them to reach that area.
