I'm much older than you guys and went back to a pillow ride.
Bought a '12 ES350 with Ultra Luxury Pkg and Mark Levinson/NAV.

I bought the '10 IS 350 'new' leftover last August from Herb Chambers in MA for $36500 and got a great trade $33250 number (under 3K miles,NAV,luxury pkg) and the ES for about $500 under invoice.
Pohanka was asking $38900 for the IS350.
Had to go to VA because I couldn't find a tungsten/black ULpkg any closer to me here in Jersey.
Almost went to Chicago for one.

For those who don't know about the Ultra Luxury Pkg option.

Ultra Luxury Package

Perforated semi-aniline leather trim interior with double contrasting stitching; Wood and leather steering wheel and shift ****; Heated and ventilated front seats; Panoramic glass roof; Power rear sunshade; High Intensity Headlamps (HID) with self-leveling feature; Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) pivots headlights in relation to steering direction to enhance illumination; 17" x 7.0" 10-spoke Liquid Graphite finished alloy wheels; Full-size spare tire

BTW,Pohanka Lexus was a pleasure to deal with.

I know the new generation ES350 is coming out but I would never buy a first year vehicle and
I never keep a car long.

They might be a pleasure with sales but I have had issues with their service department!

Yes,I did read their online service reviews.
Pretty bad but I'm 245 miles from Pohanka.I have a local Lexus dealer I've been using without incident for 5-6 years.
I really only go to the dealer for the free oil change and warranty work.

ES350's are nice I loved the loaner I had. Seems like a lot more car for about the same price as a loaded IS350. I know IS350 engine is superior but you get a LOT for your money in the ES.

An ES350 with NAV and other options is at just $43K sticker.
The ultra luxury pkg and ML adds about $3K sticker more and you get a pano roof, better quality leather with double contrast color stitching and matching stitching on the door panels, nicer liquid graphite wheels.

I can't see why we don't see more ES's with the UL option on the road.Looks great with the black glass roof too.

not sure why either. my dealer doesn't get many to begin with. But the contrast stitching and panoramic roof are worth their price of admission IMO
