Default eBay Wald Style Lip review with pix

Some of us always wonder how the fitment of eBay lip (in general) and Wald replica lip (in specific).
In my case, i choose Wald style. Let review it
1. Rear lip:
The fitment is perfect, no modification need and no gap at all. It holds up by 6 screws included ( 2 each side and 2 on the bottom) and 3M double side tape. Pix will be uploaded later today for rear lip.

2. Front lip.
The fitment is poor, gap all around but main gap is near fog light area with is visible from distance. I have 3 lip from 3 different seller to test and the result was the same.
Let pix talk itself.

However, i find a solution for it. I fixed the gap with 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant (about $12.99 at Home Depot) White, no need to paint for with color car.

I fill the gap up and smooth it out with squeegee. I was surprise with the result.
With 5 feet away, it looks like molded to the bumper.

I will take more pix today and let you see clearly about it.
Tip for using 3M sealant. You should covered it up after you done for 3 days (avoid the dust stick on it - look really nasty if you don't, learned from my mistake)

*** I'm not professional at this job but i turn out more than i expect. If you good at bomdo and body work, it's piece of cake for you.

Color is off cause the paint shop asking me to drop off my car for a day but i refuse it and agree to use my paint code to paint it.

The Rear is a replica JP Vizage rear lip. I can put money that the lip you purchased from different sellers on ebay all came from the same factory in Taiwan.

This factory distributes the replica lips to US Distributors such as ABS Dynamics, who then whole sale to different dealers. These dealers then sell to retailers or on ebay.

In a nut shell, same lip, different seller

My knowledge about those kit is limited so please forgive me. Anyway, those review is for eBay lip
To minimal the gap of rear lip, I secured the lip with 1 screw each side (top of the lip), lift it up, remove 3M tape and stick it into bumper, 2 screws on the bottom, and 2 screws on the sides

Here's a small tip for you for the 3M sealant, take an ice cube and use it to smooth it out. Since the ice cube is is frozen water you can shape the sealant and it wont stick to the cube.
