Post Did my Spark Plugs...Too worn for 60k?

I just did my spark plugs this past weekend. Took me about 3 hours, wasn't bad with the help of a friend. After removing the old plugs I noticed that the plugs looked VERY worn for just being on my car for only about 59K. I'll post some picture up so i can let you guys see. Maybe it's just me or is there a problem with something. Thanks!

My car is at 58K and I changed mine last weekend with the help of another member. The spark plugs coming out of both of our cars looked similar to the ones in your photos.

Anyone notice anything once they were changed? Idle better or restore a little power?

Did you measure the gaps on the used plugs? If they're still in spec, you've got perfectly-worn plugs for 60k miles.

What's a CAI? Wouldn't the driver's side more difficult to access?

I didn't scientifically measure them but each plug I removed, I compared it to the new plug and it seemed about the same gap.

I noticed a little more power, but the overall idle was about the same.

Yes, I have the 250. Passanger side is easy, just the intake hose. Drivers side took 2 hours just to remove the IM with finding the proper tools.

Haha I know, but it was hot, it was taking a while so I didn't want to measure anything.

well firstly at the cost of how much spark plugs actually just not really any use to checking gaps on them.. Specially on iridium tip and platinum tip, once you stick something between there that tip has a very high change of breaking ..so NEVER try to do that on that type of sparkplug ..

now to the OP your plugs are actually still good if you are to look closely the iridium tip is still squared off on the top ,it was prolly changed if you are not the original owner ..for the reason why it doesnt look so worn , and also the grounding/ striking side is not even worn down either .. iridium and platinum tips last very long they average 60k miles if extreme hard driving on them and up to 90k miles
