What's the difference between Day time running lights and parking lights.

2006-2010, 2011-12 Halogen:
DRL: 65W 9005 High-Beam Bulb at 50% duty cycle
Parking Lights: 5W 194 Bulb mounted beside the high-beam halogen bulb

2011-12 HID:
DRL: LED strip at 100% brightness
Parking Lights: LED strip at 50% brightness
