Default New member here!! Dvd nav question??

i recently bought an 07 IS350 2 weeks ago and absolutely love this car. The only drawback is although the owner took superb care of the car he never updated the GPS navigation DVD. I researched everywhere and for the newest 11.1 version DVD is $169 plus tax at my local Lexus dealership. Do any of you members here have the older DVD like the 9.1 or 10.1 disc? I would be willing to buy it from you. Looking forward to learning alot about my new car here on this forum. I will have pics of my car uploaded soon.

I don't know why a lot of people don't like the Lexus Nav. It works near perfect for me.

I like the lexus navigation.... I also have navigation on my android phone, but then i have to worry about killng my battery or dealing with wires while using it. The lexus nav is a great alternative bc its right there on the big screen... easy to see and hear. I was impressed with how it works when you are on the highway, its cool that it splits the screen and displays points of interest that are available at that exit, something my phone wont do.

My only complaint is that you have to be at a complete stop to enter a destination.... i know there are hacks for that, but its still annoying.

Upgrading the DVD was a requirement for me... roads changed a lot around here from the one that came in my car when i bought it (used).
