Default OEM Brake Pads

Hi guys,
I need to do a front brake job and replace my front brake pad for 09 IS350. Could you let me know where I can order 1 set of OEM pad for good price. I called longo lexus and they said $85/pair plus tax so it about $95 otd. Also, is there any thing I need to do for the front brake job or just a brake pad ? It will be the first brake job for the front.

Thanks

People recommend a new shim kit along with the pads. Order from Sewell; they offer a CL discount!

Get a price quote and if Lexus Westminster is too far for you, I'll recomend calling your local Lexus Dealers and ask if they would match their competitor's price/s. I have done that at El Monte Lexus. Chris Cucuta has given me really good prices. I get the parts I need on the spot and not wait for days to be delivered.

Go to Sewell. Register as a CL member. Front pads are $46.84 after discount plus about $10 shipping (maybe cheaper as you're in CA.) http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2009/1886.html

You can re-use the shims already on the car, just clean them with brake cleaner and apply some new grease to them. Once installed be sure to be in the brakes: http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm

Thanks guys.
There are 2 different model pads. The best price locally is the older pads cost around $56/set and the new improved dustless pads cost $80/set at Lex of westminster. I will pick up the dustless pads tomorrow and get ready to install by this wkend
