I have mine in the works. I'll post pics once I receive the new projector housing. It's going to use H1 Projectors which fits in with the stock housing of the H11 for my car.

for HID fogs is it a pain to mount the ballasts, etc? I'd like to add them if it will help with the light output at all.

No it's pretty easy to mount ballasts.

The HID Fog Projector will help with the output.

This user has them installed and there are pics on their car.

Mine will be indentical like the above since it will use the same projector like this person but will be slightly different since will be retrofited into the H11 housing for the 2011 instead of the 9006 housing used in the 2010 and earlier cars.

Installing an HID kit in the fog lights is a very popular upgrade. My advice if you are going to do it would be to go with 3000k as this will be the most functional. 3000k will be a deep yellow which will do a great job at penetrating through dense fog and rain.
