Jack and Jackstand Help

I've bent the tabs at the jack points so many times that it's not funny. This is where the Lexus engineers can take a lession from the Honda guys. Just a small detail but one which seems to be an issue in the DIY community.
Oh wait! Maybe they don't want us to work on our cars
I usually jack it from the frame (on the sides) or from the rear differential (in the back) and place the jackstands under the jack points. Good luck with the brake bleeding.

I use the rear diff in the back and find some points on the frame to put the jack stands. The front I jack it near where the suspension ties into the frame and put a jack stand very near the jack. I hate bending anything. My car is in such good shape I cringe at thinking of bending any metal. Get a good low profile jack.

I seasonally change the 2011 IS250 tires and don't trust the OEM scissor jack. I'd like to buy a "trolley jack" but most I see have a saddle type contact point that wouldn't seem to fit the Lexus...
What a pain... Has anyone solved this "weld rib" and alternate jack issue?

ok, so even if I think I know the right jack point at the front, how the hell do you people position your jack correctly? Even with a mirror on a stick I'm not sure I'm getting it where I think it should go.
BTW, right in the center, about 32" from the front bumper edge, correct?

Shoot after the Megan Coils I have given up on finding a perfect spot. short 2x4 on top of the jack plate and it molds to the weld then jack stands on the sub frame.

i used ramps to bleed my brakes. Get that pittsburgh low profile jack from Harbor Freight. I could reach under my friends 370Z with it. Using a jack like this you can lift up the whole front or rear and then put two jack stands in at once. A lot faster than doing one side at a time.
