Default New IS250 owner, Houston TX

Been lurking for a little while and since i purchased the car yesterday I figured is join.

Prior:
2001 330ci
2004 M3
2009 H3

I am new to the Lexus brand and was really driven to the IS line because they seem to be great cars and are easier and more affordable to maintain than BMW's.

The Hummer was a drain on my pocket, it was lifted and averaging 12mpg.

I am planning on wrapping the faux-wood in carbon fiber dinoc in May when school is out 4 the semester.

My name is Cullen, look forward to seeing some of you around!

You were driving a Hummer!!!!!

Welcome back to a 'normal' car. What color? You must post pics for us to believe you!

Lol thanks everyone. No pics yet, ill snap a few on my lunch break.

Not too many planned outside of the age old wheels/drop/intake/exhaust/tune.

That's standard operating procedure imo. Anyone in town running iForged or Asanti?

I've been wanting to drop but have been worried about some of the potholes and huge dips on the freeways around town (mainly 59). But i just pulled the trigger and bought some BC Racing coils. Just gotta figure out how to install them / get the drop I want myself. Would be down to take it to a shop but it would have to be quality work.

If you wanna hear PPE Headers + F sport exhaust & intake hit me up, i'm on the south side near sugarland.

Congrats on the purchase of your IS... post some pictures and beside the CF, what else you plan on doing to the car?? I suggest tint and drop if not in consideration already ;-)
