Default Wheel fitment question

I searched and couldn't find the exact answer Im looking for.

I plan on running 225 front and 255 rear tires. Will a 18x9.5 be too wide for the 225, I dont mind a little stretch but not too much... as for the rears, 10.5 will work on the 255 I've heard.

Fitment question:
Choice 1 18x8.5 +15 on 225/40/18 18x9.5 +12 on 255/40/18
Choice 2 18x9.5 +12 on 225/40/18 18x10.5 +15 on 255/40/18
Choice 3 18x9.5 +22 on 225/40/18 18x10.5 +22 on 255/40/18

I've verbally asked a few wheel and Lexus guys and nobody seems to be able to provide a straight answer. Car is only lowered on F-sport springs and I might go air one day but nothing lower for now.

Much appreciated.

i've done 225/40/18 on a 18x9 and it fit well. don't think 225 on a 9.5 will have problem.

sometimes, search is your best friend. other times, you just have to ask the right question, like "will those wheels fit?"

for starters, you'll need fender work (roll + light/medium pull) for all three choices. that includes relocating the fender tabs.

secondly, your proposed ride height is crucial. f-sport springs vs. air suspension are two different stories, since ride height determines tire-to-fender edge clearance. but for the sake of discussion, let's go ahead and assume that you don't plan on air suspension any time soon, meaning those f-sport springs will stay in your 2is for a good long time.

and since you've decided with 225/40-18 + 255/40-18, in order to run lower-offset wheels, you'll need to get a good stretch out of them in order to have the proper clearance - both while parked/not moving and moving.

long story short, go with option #3 (18x9.5/10.5 +22).

+22 is my choice with minimal fender mods. i'd do a shave for the fenders.

does the face of the wheels look any different between those offsets?

got pix of the wheels you plan to get?
