Alright so after further review they are painted gloss black on the bottom, I missed the paint towards the projector. The LED lights on these are the whiter match 6000k pretty close. I just think they moved the lens further in so there is less of a chance that bubbling happens not sure. Here is about the best pic I got so far. Just found out they installed/ordered the wrong lights... Will get a new set within the next few weeks. This is such B.S. :\
So they installed the older 2011 lights is that it?

Yep so my bad, I will wait a few before I get these new lights. Just very annoying. From what I was told by the parts department. These lights they put on the car are the lights right before Lexus came out with the eye lashes. :\

I was afraid they would do that to me but luckily that wasn't the case. Let's see if the ones I have last longer than 15k miles without bubbling.

That's a big mistake they made. I didn't realize they could still get a hold of the pre-eyelash ones since the TSB is supposed to be the eyelash ones.
Anyone have a pdf file of the new TSB? If I go to the dealership, I know I'll have problems explaining the TSB.
...and I JUST replaced my headlights with the black chrome/eyelash headlight.
As far as I know the TSB is only for the 2011 models, my 2012 which came with the glossy black housing and eyelid bubbled as the 2011s did and they did not give me any issues getting them replaced.
Let's see if this set lasts more than 15k miles though. I don't think they have come up with a solution yet.
i wonder if the price will drop when 3is comes out in a few months..
I doubt it. There may be a sale to get rid of extra stock at some point in the future from Sewell, but expect the price to go up after that as demand tapers off.
