Default Sewell Lexus Parts

Ok, so I ordered a full gfx kit from Sewell knowing their good rep and that everything usually comes through. Well I contacted them last week and still havent had a response regarding my gfx kit paint. I received the parts in good condition, but the paint is totally from my car's paint color. I know through the years that the color changes a little, but not that off from what I received. The kit looks like starfire pearl or something. I have crystal white paint (062 code), but it does not match at all. I'll take a pic tomorrow. If anyone has any info on how to contact sewell, please reply to this thread or PM me. I am very frustrated cause I just spent almost a grand for this thing and havent receive any response from our good friend Sewell.

Look at your kit find the paint code on the kit. What does it say? It's easy to tell if it has pearl in it.

On the order, I chose 062 crystal white.

The paint code would of been on other side of the GFX where it's not painted.

About factory or Sewell, it's one or the other, not both. One can tell because the part nubmer is not something that is searchable outside of Sewell, while the factory one is. Also, the price of the factory painted one is less than the Sewell painted (because the part is unpainted and Sewell had a paint shop paint it).

if it's crystal white (062) it means it would've had to have been painted by sewell. I had my front bumper/lip painted in that color code and they dont have it in stock, that went for the gfx sides as well

I'm interested because I ordered the gfx rear and it said it was in stock

either way, they have a contact us on the email...or just give them a ring

I think the consensus is they take awhile to respond to emails because they're so busy (I remember Daryl posted about it in another thread some time ago). The one time I did it they took about a week to get back to me. Try giving them a call it you haven't done so already.

^^^^^They shouldnt be too busy to reply to their customers.....hate when people use that as an excuse....i'm sure they not too busy to collect our money. I havent had any problems with them so far i hope it stays that way.

I don't know if ya knew this or not, but seems to me like Sewell customer rep is run by one guy (Darrel) he is the one and only who responds to my emails. It takes him a few days, but IDK I never had anything come up wrong from them... I just email about random questions and fitment stuff.

...simply forward any images or other documentation that demonstrates the incorrect color.

In reviewing the order in question, 062 Crystal White is the color processed and shipped. The other colors, 074 and 077 apply only to later model IS's.

We can help, just tell us how.

Hmm, don't think it works that way unless corners were cut. The original paint would of been removed before painting it; therefore if you get rock chips, all you would see is black which would be the plastic itself.

This is what I had on the other side of the bumper 074 If I remembered correctly. What color is that?

How do I contact you to fix this? I paid hard earned money and I expect it to be correct. Please fix this.

Here are some pics I just took from my iphone.

as you can see, this thing looks retarded on my car. I got over 5+ people telling me it doesnt match already and I look like a cheap ricer using imitation parts on my lexus.

Contact me on how you can help me resolve this problem.
