Default 06 pricing

A buddy of mine picked up an 06 350 with 72k mi for $13k. I searched all over the net including autotrader, CL, and other sources and couldn't find another for about the same price. This is black on black, completely loaded with Nav, ML, heated and cooling seats, most likely every option they had then. The paint is decent, a few dings nothing big. Can't tell if there has been any major accidents, no bondo, paint looks original, and car fax is clean. It looks like he got a really good deal. I took the car up to 110 mph and it drove straight, no rattles or vibrations.

Sounds like he got a great deal!! I think the lowest I've ever heard is around $16k.

Hmmm? Seems about right if its had a medium size accident, especially if its front end damage replacement. Run the VIN and hope everything has been reported, also don't trust carfax common mistake 98% of all autobuyers make its good to get but its surely not always accurate. Run the VIN on the lexus website. Honestly I saw 1 for 15k at Atlanta Used Cars, they said it had not been in an accident we did some digging and spotted a bunch of lies going on. Hope your friends car is legit...only time will tell.

At 13k you can't even buy a Honda. Even if it's been into an accident, carfax has clean title it will remain its resale value. That's an excellent buy!!

Bet it was in a wreck and CarFax didn't see it. Thats what I discovered after buying mine. Check the Lexus service history and see if there is any body work entries.

Car is clean... we ran the vin it was clean and nothing major that was reported. Drives fine.. for a 6 yr old car some dings is expected. Car was picked up in Fresno.. a good 3 hr drive from SF. I think he got a really good deal. Even if he drives it for a yr or two.. he can still get good money for it.
