Next car After IS 350?
What does everyone plan to change to next? I have been debating on the Nissan Altima...Are they worth it? THe extra cabin space is a plus..And Nissan engines Ive heard are good. Does the IS have much better features? Also, throwing in trucks too...

Toyota Tacoma TRD sport or TRD off road or the New TRD TX baja series coming out in MAY, Nissan Frontier, Scion FRS, The New FJ cruiser TRAIL Teams, BMW 3 series. I have a Toyota Tacoma and I love my truck.

I had a tacoma prior to the 350 and loved it, gas was a killer though. If you are looking at trucks that would be my #1 (130k miles on an 06 TRD sport package, no issues). My next car will be something with a little more room, i'm leaning toward an SUV since my commute is a lot shorter now gas isn't as big of a concern. 2012 SRT8 jeep, BMW X5m are the two front runners.

If I had to go look TODAY (or in the next couple months) at a replacement and it wasn't another 08 IS350 I'd look at:
Caddy ATS
Hyundai Genesis Coupe (the newly refreshed 2013 one)
Caddy CTS-V maybe (used though, new is insanely overpriced and drops quickly)
2011 Ford Mustang GT (since again initial depreciation is brutal on most domestics)
Honda/Acura cars all turn the wrong pair of wheels... Toyota (apart from Lexus) has the same problem...
GM outside of caddy doesn't make anything worth looking at in this class
Dodge/Chrysler quality is utter crap
Nissan has the 370 which is a bit too stripped down for me, and the GT-R which is a lot too expensive... Infiniti has the G, but it's a notch below the 2IS in my book so I'd just as soon get another 2IS.
Anything German except maybe Porsche is unreliable and overpriced (Porsche is just overpriced)
That covers most stuff out there.
The 3IS, when it shows up, will potentially be on the list, but since I've disliked almost every visual/cosmetic change to the IS from 2009 onward I don't have a great feeling about it... double that because they failed to refresh the powertrain for the 3GS and I fear they'll do the same for the IS.
