Dent in Quarter Panel
So I had someone open their car door into the rear fender just above the wheel where the ridge line is located. Has anyone ever had a nasty dent there and if so can Lexus paintless dent removal take care of it completely? I tried feeling behind the dent and it didn't feel as if the metal on the inside had been distorted at all. Below is a pic (pre-injury) that shows the location of the dent. Any info would be wonderful.

I have the exact same ding/dent on my front fender. I plan on taking it to a mobile ding remover guy once I get the funds. Will report back if it works or not. My ding is more of a straight line up and down crease rather than a circular depression. Yours?

OP, it may be impossible for a pdr guy to get behind that without drilling any access holes. Its likely that the reason you couldn't feel any deformation on the inside is because theres a second layer of sheet metal there. Oh and just so you know, its a quarter panel not a rear fender.
Fizzboy, there should be no trouble for someone to access the backside of your fender to push on it, but considering its creased, it likely will never look 100%, but it still can be made to look much better.

Thanks Nathan for the info. I'd be totally content with a 50-70% fix. Most dings aren't noticable at that level.

My wife had a small dent on a body line on her front fender of her CRV. PDR was able to completely remove it and it looks brand new. There is no sign of a dent ever being there, I was really impressed. No idea if her front fender had a double wall or if drilling access holes was required. Was only $150 (they also fixed a few scratches) to have fixed, was money well spent.
