Thanks Bonroad for the emailed installation pics. I installed the unit yesterday, and all went well. However, my FM stations will not go up to 107 or 108 which are available in SoCal. I can't find the menu screen on my unit that will change the settings. Right now the numbers only go to 99 or so. Can anyone help? By the way, this unit for the price seems to be the "hot tip" if you have a non-nav Lexus. It looks oem, and the screen is nice and BIG. Also, the dvd plays audio, but no video. It just says "enjoy music while driving". Can't find the menu setting for that either. Does anyone know? Other than that, I'm very happy with this unit.

Hope it helps

Johnchi, I managed to get my unit to fit like stock, no overlay and it doesn't stick out on the sides. However I did have to take a saw to some of my tabs on the back
SO this unit gives you to CD slots one for dvd and one for CD correct?

You attach the nav/dvd/radio that you buy to your original cd player, so u still have your 6 cd changer.

Yes the new headunit fits directly to the OEM CD changer giving you the ability to play 7 cds or 6 cds and a DVD. To get the DVD to work you need to earth the relevant wire on the back of the harness they supplied you with. The correct wire should be capped at the end and labelled.

Hello, I'm interested in changing out the Navigation screen in my 2009 IS250. I found this post after much searching and really like the look of the system you installed. Have you had any issues with it? Do you have a picture of how the MP3 screen looks? Also, how does it change through songs? I hate that I have to keep clicking the screen to get to a specific artist in my MP3 player.

Thanks!

KrUnIzze, I brought my unit from a company on Alibaba Express - LSQ Shenzen. It was about $520 inc postage.
which tongs exactly did you remove from the back of the vent unit? I'm having the same problem and can't figure it out. DId you file something off of the bottom of the vents, where it slides in? Can you post a picture?

Hi

I'll get a picture taken and posted for you.

Re the video DVD player, if my memory serves me correct it is the 'brake' cable you need to ground.

I just got the vents, so which ones did you guys clipped? The green arrows that holds the wire or the white pointed ones? I'm thinking that even with the old vents it's probably possible to clip them and make it fit ...
