M88JCP, can you post a pic of what you mean by stick out?
My car is in for some work so wont be near it in the next week or so.
Fitting the vents was straight forward for me.
Are you sure nothings blocking, interfering with the vents from the back, extra wiring etc? I know mine needed to be pulled to move the led wiring so it doesnt interfere and then it was all good.

Hi Johnci, thanks for getting back to me. I have tried to take a picture, doesn't really show the problem. The bottom of the vent, were it meets the nav, stick's out beyond the edge of the dashboard. But I believe it should be recessed inside the dashboard Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've also added a picture of the fitted unit for anybody interested. I managed to obtain a 2009 CD changer aswell and swapped the fascia over so have the added chrome trim. I put my old fascia on the new CD changer mechanism and sold it so got the new chrome bit for free

M88JCP I had a little bit of trouble also with what you are talking about, I found that the wires behind the unit caused my nav to stick out just enough, even though I tightened all the bolts as much as I could. So what I did was took the unit out and when sliding the nav system in I held all the cables above the unit so they would'nt get in the way. Not sure if that will help you or you have tried that, but for me that fixed the problem.

IamNate, thanks for the help. I tried that and it didn't help. I've now fixed the problem, I had to remove a couple of the tongs on the back of the unit and now it fits perfect.

KrUnIzze, I brought my unit from a company on Alibaba Express - LSQ Shenzen. It was about $520 inc postage.

I e-mailed the company direct re my unit, address documented below.

<sales3@lsqbusiness.com>

Hope it helps

Johnchi, I managed to get my unit to fit like stock, no overlay and it doesn't stick out on the sides. However I did have to take a saw to some of my tabs on the back

Any other issues? Can you provide a direct link to this system? What year is your car?

No other issues to comment on. Johnci covered it off very well.

I have a 2007 car and the unit plugs and plays perfectly.

Can you provide me a link to where you got it? Sorry if I sound a bit pushy

No problem.

I found the unit on Alibaba, link above.

I then just e-mailed them with the above address and brought the item through that means.
