I sold a set of alloy lobster claws ('09-'10) for $850, and chrome split-spokes ('06-'08) for $650. Both sets had matching tires on all four in decent condition.

Currently running a set of 2011+ 18" I snagged for $1,000. Came w/ brand new tires too, they were taken off in favor of aftermarket wheels after only 50 miles on the odo.

Yea you're not going to get much for your wheels. I recently just purchased 2012 stock 17's with completely new tires for 600 shipped.. Prices from the dealership are rediculous, last week I was quoted $55 cad for wiper insert change (sewell 13.95) !! And $95 cad for steering damper (without installation, sewell $26.00)

I never expected it to be this expensive , did you guys know that your stock wheel were this expensive ?

Anyways I want to know how much would I get now for each wheels if I sold it to my dealer or another 3rd person ( assuming my wheels have slight curb rash only ) ?

You really shouldnt look at the dealer price, when you want to price your wheel. You will never sell it for that price, no matter how prestine it is. This is why:

A 2000 Honda civic steel wheel is priced at $149.50 at the dealer. $149.50 X 4 = $598

Do you really think someone is going to pay that much for a OEM wheel?

Yea man you will maybe get 400-500 for ALL 4 wheels maybe 600-700 with the tires. Thats pushing it. Ive sold a few sets of OEM the 2007 slipt spoke in like new condition with 2 like new hankooks and the rears were gone for 700 and then my chrome lobster claws with 60-70% tire life AND tire pressure sensors for around 900 bucks. These rims were like new. Im trying to sell a set of nice 20 inch wheels with basically new tires and ill be lucky to get 800.

Bottom line is if they arent the aggressive WORK, RAYS, and Vossen wheels everyone on here is hunting for they arent worth very much. Things could be different in Kuwait so maybe youll have better luck but thats how it is around here. Even my ISF wheels which were under 100 mile take offs with tires and tire pressure sensors cost me 1900. Its a sunk cost, get something back for it and call it a day or save them for when you trade in.

I kept my OE wheels because I can't stand the low resale value, plus I can put them back when I sell my car and sell the aftermarket wheels separately.

My experience told me that I can get more money doing this than selling the car with aftermarket wheels.

Thanks for all your feedback guys. I guess I'll just keep my OEM wheels as spare and ship a new one from US. It's a lot cheaper and sensible thing to do. You guy's were right , I will never get the quoted dealer price even if i stand upside down.
