Is there any way to eliminate the orange turn signal indicator on stock 2010 LED tail lights?

I know one option would be going to ISF tail lights but I don't think I like those as they don't have that LED look.

This is what my stock tail lights look like. I like them a lot except for the orange turn signal lens.





Any ideas?

If you change yours to the 11 tail, the turn signal lens is clear for them.

I have Aerotec redouts on my '09 tailights which are the same as the '10's tailights. It is a translucent red vinyl film that goes over the amber lens. It's been on my car for 3 years and looks the same since I put it on.

on a previous vehicle i separated the headlight and took out the little orange piece , glued it back together and got the clear look for the turn signal......by chance would be able to do the same and just take out the orange plastic piece on the 2IS tail lights?

sorry for the newbie question.

but how did you guy cover the vinyl on the side of the amber signal light. i couldn't with the wet method. help would be nice thanks

You can either cover it with a red vinyl cutout, or get the '11-'13 style tail lights with the (almost) clear turn signal.

lol just red it out with vinyl, why waste money on new taillights if it's the same just different colour

even with the new 11/12 taillight, it's still yellow when you use your turn signals, with red vinyl it's gona come out red/dark orange which looks much better

Probably just leave it. It seems a bit odd sticking something in front in it to change the color; At the same time, affecting the lumen output slightly.

The 11+ tails are clear / black at the right angle they are actually pretty cool
