Default Tire Recommendation

Hey guys had a question. Im about to put my car on some 19's and was wondering what kind of tire do you guys recommend out there. Im looking for something that will last me a good little bit. Id still like that Lexus ride if possible. Thanks

Exactly what wheels did you get? Are you lowered or still on factory springs? What is your budget for the whole set?

I decided to go with those Stance SC-5 wheels in back in 19's. I believe they only come in 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear. Im actually still on factory springs and was planning to order some next week. Another thing I'm still researching. I actually asked about those yokohama s drives and they were out of stock! Heard a few good things about Continentals but i haven't got a chance to check em out yet.

I highly recommend this article-

http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...mparison-tests

All the other tires mentioned in this thread except the contis are covered (finishing in 6th and 4th place respectively)

I feel the Hankook V12 is the best bang/buck tire going (and finishes 2nd).... though the Conti DW (not DWS) is also an excellent tire, albeit a bit more expensive (though the gap is smaller if Hankook didn't renew their $80 rebate for 2012)

Or, if $ is no object, get the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

x2, I never had a problem with any Nitto tire I owned and recently ran the NT555 and grip was better than the V12(owned that as well)

The V12 has more size options, wish I Nitto did.

Hankook Ventus V12 are the best bang for the buck, IMO.

Micheline Primacy MXM4 (not sure if it comes in 19"), but awesome tires in term of comfort and little to none road noise
