OP, asking me how dark YOU should go is like asking me what you should eat for breakfast. I really have no clue how light affects you, etc...
If I had to do it all over again I'd go 10% on my front windshield and double limo all around. But I am not the norm.

There is an IS member from Texas that has limo tint all ALL windows. His car looks so boss too.
For guys like he and I, at night we don't drive with interior lights on. All interior lights are fully dimmed/turned off. I've even pulled my green light for the cruise control, In drive, and headlight on indicators.
Agree, another asinine question on the forum. Get what ever you want, be legal or be illegal and get a possible ticket. Who cares, no one drives around and checks out people's tint and compliments on it. Get 5% and call it a day.

I have front tinted windshield. Look a few posts back up - Since it has Air Blue 80, is very light that it appears that it does not exist. Since it's blocking about 20% light, your eyes would would be difficult to tell that the window is tinted without comparing it the same window side by side with no tint.

Useful in areas were if tint is not allowed on X window... well put AB 80, no one will know.

Here is the Air Blue 80 front; it appears that it never existed unless one is trying to look for it.

I have 0% on all 5 back windows of my Tahoe (5% on top of 15%) and 30% on my driver and passenger windows. I refuse to go lighter than that ever again, my obsidian came with some wimpy 30% in the back and a UV protective layer on the front two windows and I hate how I can see in. At the very least go 5% for the backs and 30% on the front two. But whatever you style is go for it!!

I ended up going with 20% all the way around except for the windshield. I kept that stock. It looks great! I will post some pics once I install the OEM rear spoiler over the weekend. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Air Blue 80 is the way to go. Can't get pulled with something that light which is undetectable at a glance.

Two links here to see more of Air Blue 80 in action.

20% ALL AROUND would give it a clean/sleek look. 35% lets too much light in during the summertime or when the sun is out.

Regardless of what percentage you get, I would suggest getting the same all around the car (except the front windshield). It just gives your car a sleeker look IMO. Keep us updated and post pics when you get it done!

It really depends on the tint laws in your state. I'm in California and have 35% all the way around. It's clean and classy. Sometimes I wish I went darker, I had 5% all around in both my is300 and es300. It depends. I just don't want to get hassled any more.
