Needs to be on "Trip A"
Have odometer set to"Trip A"
Turn off car
Do NOT put foot on brake
Push and hold "ODO/TRIP" button
Push start button TWICE
Display will state "Resetting oil maintenance"
Release "ODO/TRIP" button
You're done.
Turn off car
Do NOT put foot on brake
Push and hold "ODO/TRIP" button
Push start button TWICE
Display will state "Resetting oil maintenance"
Release "ODO/TRIP" button

full procedure how to reset oil service light Lexus IS 250. If you like to reset any maintenance oil light after an oil change. Or reset check engine light, airbag light, inspection key or insp errors when maint reqd, for Lexus cars. Or any warning light for service reminder which appears on the display.

This was very useful, had no reason why my light came on at about 3000 KM after a recent service... Either my garage is screwing with me or they just did not reset the warning, hoping it was the latter... Anyway I can confirm the level of oil I really have?
