Default Headlight Problem!

I got a 2006 IS350 with the HID headlights

Somehow I got condensation in the headlight housing on one side of the car (driver side) and the headlight would come one like every other time. And eventually over time it turned on less and less till now it just doesn't turn anymore. My DRL and parking light still work great, it's just the headligh wont turn on.

It's not the bulb, because I tried another bulb and it didn't work on that side too.

Is it the ballast?

How much is this gunna cost me?

Thanks!

Yes ballast, cost depends on how much you can find one for and if you can replace it yourself. You have to remove the bumper to replace your ballast.

Sewell has a new set of ballasts with CL discount for about $168 before shipping.

http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2007/5310.html

Looks like this place here sells it individually one so fo $80 before shipping.

for the condensation, you can take the headlight out and use a hairdryer or a fan to dry the water. water either got in around the seal or from the back.
