Attn: Phillips Ultinon 6000k owners... What are the best match fogs???

Okay... thanks gents. The kits look legit!!!!
So let's just say I can't really spend $240 on an HID kit right now. What are your guys thoughts on the following less expensive options:
Do you think its possible to get just the bulbs (from the kit) somewhere, and use them with less expensive ballasts?
Also, any thoughts about using 5000K kits from a DDM, Xenon Depot, or HID Extra to try to get close to a match? How far off do you think it'll be?

Most likely it can be purchased separately because the ballasts and bulbs are two different boxes (as per my pics) and also have two different item numbers.
I believe some places just advertise them as a set assuming they want the whole thing. As long ask them you just want either the ballasts or the bulb, they can do that.

Here the one i got from a member on the GS section back in 09. I did go threw the online fake vs real and these rebase were rite top to bottom. To bad i had to leave them on the is250 when i did the trade to is350. Cant say if they ballast were legit but the bulbs were.
It said philips burner!!
It is NOT 100% OEM PHILIPS product.
This is a rebase one.
Quality is not as good as 100% OEM.

That Philips Authenticity checker does not look legit. Are you 100% certain the bulbs are not fakes - the packaging could be real or a very well done fake. I have often seen this in China.

There are 2 different authenticity checking websites, one is older, one is newer. The style of sticker and some of the packaging also varies on the newest packing from what used before the new slim-ballast kits came out last year.
I only use factory stuff now and have gotten rid of my Philips stuff (might have an old H11 kit lying around somewhere, but it would have the old-style sticker), but I can't really show any pics detailing the differences, etc. anymore.
In any case, verifying authenticity is annoying, haha. I am always suspect of any HID kit I ever see. Glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.

The one I'm posting regarding authenticity is for the current one. In the link below, it has a picture of what the current one looks like.

The only way you can get fakes is if you get it from a unreliable source. If you get it from a reputable source, like from a CL vendor for instance, there is nothing to worry about.

Here is the URL for the old authenticity. Note it's 14 for the old one while the new one is 16.
