Took the IS to auto-cross event: Results and a CEL code
So Karasha and I took our cars to an autocross event today, first time doing it and was enjoyed the hell out of it. It's always fun to push these cars and to learn how they handle in extreme driving.
My best lap was 58 seconds, and Karasha a 53.7. I drive an is250 and she has an is350. And since these times don't mean much of anything on their own, here's some result pages with other car models and their respective times. Most daily driven cars out there were mid to low 50's to high 40's. My fastest time I actually spun out in the run, due to a CEL being thrown in the 3rd run causing no traction control (I believe that's how it works?)
Result pages (our runs with the red through our names ).
Car back home afterwards, sorry no action shots, we were both driving at the same time
Which leads me to my CEL code.... I got a CEL code of P0174, bank 2, system too lean. Anyone have a probable cause or good guess? I've read through this link I found on CL, it's got some good leads I'll have to check in the morning. http://repairpal.com/OBD-II-Code-P0171-and-P0174
Thanks for any CEL help, and hope the results were worth the read .
