Haha this is funny, I love how people give an exact number. You can't most people don't realizes no speedo is that correct at high speeds just say you went about 140-145 or so. Also at say 140's are you really looking at the speedo that long to say yup hit 145. I have gone 140+ according to my speedo but to say i hit 144 would be a lie. The gauge was around 140 so prob really did 130's.

I never ever speed. But *if* I were to push it on a road that I happen to know is always traffic free on a Sunday morning I think I would hit around 110 before I would have to slow for an inconvenient traffic light.

*wink*

not worth trying it out in the freeway/street.

If you want speed - do it in the track.

135 mph on a super straight, super long piece of desert road that's about 1.5 hours east of San Diego. I only managed about 120 uphill on the way back though

95mph+ *when i glanced at the speedo* with mom in the pouring rain over the H3 freeway, got a call from the hospital that no one wants to get for my cousin 'come NOW'... course when we got there it was a false alarm but no one bothered to call me back to tell me that~

Not on the 2012 I can adjust to what ever speed I want, I have mine at 80 and the tach at 5500.
Had mine to 110 so far .

120 is the highest I've gone on I-95, cruising with an Audi A5. I usually drive 90, don't want killer tickets.

I actually got pulled over a couple days ago while going 95 on the way home from the casino. Luckily he let me off with a ticket for not having proof of insurance (even though I did, he was just giving me a break).

I have an iPhone app that gives speeds as calculated from successive GPS readings, so it ought to be on-the-money. I believe that most portable GPS units also do this.

I've not had the opportunity to drive an '12, but I'm pretty certain it functions like the other years. You can set the warning speed for both the speedo and tach, and when they are exceeded the ring lights up in AMBER. I also have mine set to 80 MPH. But when you pass 100MPH, a value which is fixed, the ring around the speedo changes from AMBER to RED.

125ish on the way to golfing with my father-in-law, to test out the brand new Redline Radar Detector that he had just gotten me for my b-day! It's amazing how stable the 350 is at that speed. I've been in cars (my old Eclipse and Prelude, back in the day!) doing 100+, and it seems like you're trying to break the sound barrier!!

My orange ring is set to 88mph, because i don't want to make the mistake of going back in time again.

Nope, both are adjustable. Mine's set to 80 and 100. My brothers is set to 60 and 80 - both '06 IS350s.
