I am thinking about buying one of those.... how many do we need? One or two?

You just need one, and that looks like it.

Sounds like the bulb is failing, slowly it will happen more and more frequently until the bulb doesnt work at all. no fix, just swap out.

I've had that happen to my fog lights before but upon rechecking everything i came to find out that i didn't connect all the wires tightly so they were kind of hopping in and out of the socket. Since then I've had no problems. I have DDM tuning and have had no problems with them. Plus its lifetime warranty so why not
