For those with Next Mod ING + 1 lip kit
I had a lexus dealership installed the rear lip for me a while back, now I am putting the car back to stock and I noticed the two corners of my rear bumper are cut. I am not sure if they would need to cut the bumper to fit this lip kit..
can you guys provide any inputs?
Here are some pictures.
The first picture is what my bumper looks like now.. as you can see it is missing two corners.
The second picture is what the lip looks like
The third picture is what the front of the bumper and lip looks like when they are put together..

also.. when you guys install the lips, how do you guys hold it onto the bumper? this guy keeps telling me he needs to drill holes and put screws. Can't he just use double sided tape?

they are going to tell you that since it was an aftermarket part, they had to custom fit it, and will take no liability for non oem parts. tell them that they're idiots and should have modified the rear lip. ask whoever the district/regional manager is for the dealership and tell them they did a hack job on your rear bumper when the job was suppose to modify the rear lip to fit the bumper.

Proper fitment during installation sometimes requires cutting. If you follow the instructions Lexus provides for the GFX rear lip, it also states that you have to cut the rear bumper. to fit the wider openings on the lips. A lot of people (myself included) just installed it anyways, but many people have cut it.
