Car cranks without Keyfob
Yesterday my friend was in my driver seat fooling around and he tried to start the car. The keyfob was not in the car at all or anywhere near, but when she tried to start the car, the engine will keep cranking but never start up.
this has happen twice already and I'm starting to be really concern. Has anyone else experienced this before?

Teke a look on your battery, maybe for that... i had that problem but i solve that with a new battery...
what does start sound like!? trrrrrrrrrrrrrr!?
maybe you or last owner lost spare key in the car.... (so the doors will not close)
you bought your car on zero!? or not you have buy it used...!?
if you cant resolve that you must get it to your customer service...

see the battery level, i think its for battery...
when my battery went to die, the car couldn't start and make a sound trrrrr.trrrrrrrrrrrrr, and !!!! watch light dies too...
my sound system couldn't work correctly... it may cause more and more problems and harmful damages...

I've seen this happen before on Toyotas. Not sure if on our 2IS I happens but that's the Immobilizer doing it's job. It will kill spark and fuel until it registers the registered Immobilizer fob. If no proper Immobilizer fob is detected it will just crank the engine for a few seconds and throw a Immobilizer code.
