I'm in the market for an IS250 AWD and the ML stereo is very important to me.

Unfortunately,these are few and far between... of the 17 ads that fit my criteria on AutoTrader... only 2 actually had Mark Levinson stereos (confirmed through pictures of dash). I am searching nationwide as well. I also got very similar results using cars.com ... many listings with "Mark Levinson", but the vast majority did not have the ML upgrade.

Ugh. Just needed to vent.

Are there any other good sites I can search on for used cars?

If you think IS250s equipped with ML are rare, try looking for an IS350 with ML. Nearly impossible. They didn't make many with ML, just keep searching and take your time. GL.

Yep that's how it was for me. Only ones I found with the ML was a color I didn't want. I had to have a CPO sfp. So ultimately I decided I was putting in my system from my previous car anyways and the non MLs sounded pretty good anyways so i sucked it up and got one without. You can always upgrade to a ML through the stealership if its a must for you.

well honestly i was the same case for me also, i notice most people who bought the 250 over the 350 wanted to save money or it was not in their budget, thats why is hard to find a 250 with ML, so i decided to look for 350 you find lot more 350 with ML than 250

I think a lot of the people who got the 250 rather than 350 got it for AWD not to save money. Getting a RWD car for me was not an option living in north NJ.

ML is tough to find but in my opinion totally worth holding out for it you can find it. It took me about 8 months to get my ideal combo. (350, SGM, NAV, ML, LUX package)

ML is rare, regardless. It took me awhile to find the color I wanted with ML....and I lucked out by finding it in the even rarer sports package. Still burned into my memory banks, one Acura Dealer had just received a black IS350 and I called to ask if it had ML (since there were no detailed pics at the time). The Sales Manager said that "yes, this is fully loaded with every option and the ML Nav." I drove 30 minutes down to the dealership, only to find out that he was full of crap. I didn't even waste any more of my time, when I showed him that my Top Gun DVD wouldn't play in the system.

I gave up on finding one with ML and just went for a IS250 without it. I probably would have stuck it out longer for one if i had the time to wait lol

They are very difficult to locate - I had guys looking out for a "loaded" IS350 for a couple of months before I scored one.

I ended up living with the fact I wouldn't get one. And when I finally did find one, they wouldn't negotiate on the price because of the fact.

OP if you can live without it I recommend doing so. It will make your search a hell of a lot easier. I wish I had it, but I can live without it. I got a great deal and would have passed on it had I not put this small but awesome feature to the side.

ML is rare since it's not part of the package builds for X50 unless it's the IS-F.

The cars which come with ML is most ikely special ordered in for a customer. If one got it as CPO, first owner must of ordered it this way.

Now as per upgrading fro non-ML system, not possible. It can be possible but you pretty much need to take the car apart because the wiring/interior panels/harnesses/speaker are different for the ML system and it's going to be costly.

The only sites I have used are autotrader, cars.com, and craigslist. Not too sure about any others that would yield as many cars as those three.
