I finally got around to fixing mine about 2 weeks ago. If you know how to use a screw driver and a small torque wrench, it should be fairly straight forward. I opted to purchase a new digitizer ($50) instead of putzing around with that silly circuit writer.

I bought a digitizer from this guy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331555180866?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

my screen isn't responsive on my gs460. Will this work for me too? Can I order a digitizer? Any feedback is appreciated as almost all post are for the is.

2008 gs460 using same connector with is touch panel but the ribbon cable is little longer than IS. Really sure the after market touch panel ribbon cable is long enough for both car (universal connector)

so you think I should be ok with the one used in the vid above? I didn't know the gs had the same issue. I think mine might have gone due to the car sitting in the Miami sun for a week while I was out of town. Sucks big time but I'm glad I found this thread.

The digitizer from the eBay link and video works perfect with your 2008 GS460. The ribbon cable is longer and thinner than the OEM, but it still works because it has the 4 pin connector ribbon. Lexus uses the same digitizer for certain year model IS, GS, RX, and Prius.
