Exactly what's in the scheduled maintenance guide that came with your car and is posted on Lexus.com.

To be fair, the manual does list a buncha "inspect" crap that you won't want to be paying a dealer for as it's mostly "look for leaks you'd already notice and mention during just an oil change"

What you actually need at 60k:

Change spark plugs
Change oil
Change brake fluid
Change cabin and engine air filters (do these yourself, takes 5 minutes)

That's it.

Oh, and rotate tires if AWD.

THANK YOU

Lexus.com and the manual list many things that are not necessary.

Huh... I wonder if that got left over from previous years manuals as the 1st gen IS offered a mechanical LSD that the 2IS doesn't... as mentioned that item doesn't appear in any later manual.

Got my plugs off the net for less than $100. Dealer is going to replace them for free when I get the spring recall done. Otherwise, I would have just done it myself.

What a huge difference. I just changed my oil this weekend and I asked for some price quotes as I am approching 60k. I'm at 53k now.
I got this from my lexus dealer:
$340 changing spark plugs (that's labor, parts and tax)
$140 replace break fluid.
$86 syntetic oil change..
I thought those are not bad prices.

p.s. When I was at 35k miles I changed the break fluid at Toyota dealership for $109 incl tax.
