How long did you have it on before that?

Damn, definitely didn't install it right then, because i've had mine for coming up on a year now and is not budging one bit if you try and shake it. I've had my trunk spoiler 3M taped down for a year now too without any movement or peeling.

Plenty of others here have had 0 issues with 3M tape, that stuff is crazy strong as long as the installation is done correctly

Just to be safe, I would use double sided tape on any part of the spoiler that makes contact with your windshield! You don't have to, but it doesn't hurt to make sure it's extra secure.

I used white 3m double sided tape and noticed the roof spoiler isn't sticking in the middle anymore and is getting looser and looser...the part of the tape that sticks is white, with red backing. I heard the grey colored one is stronger?

Yeah you need more than just the sides! I had 3 lines of tape all the way across mine when it was installed. Clean the glass very well, install when the glass is warm/hot and you should be golden. Some people like to put some 3M adhesive promoter too, not a bad idea at all.

Yeah the high strength one should be gray colored with red backing. That's the one you want to use

I've tried installing mine twice with the correct 3m tape from amazon and even added a bead of lock-tite to glue it to the glass and it still came off after a few days. I don't know what you guys are doing that i'm not. I'm going to try again in the fall when the humidity is lower and see if thats my problem.
