You can see some red in my pictures. Thats just due to my poor vinyl wrapping job. If i wrapped properly, no red would be showing. If you dont have carbon fiber vinyl already, every part that shows the carbon fiber vinyl will show the original color of your trim. Not perfect, but good enough for me. This is my first car so I'm just playing around with the little money i have. A few years down the road i probably wont make compromises like this :P

Dude I hear ya, am trying to stay cost effective here too. Hence this thread

I appreciate you taking your time out and getting these pictures, both you and sffd. I think I have a good idea of what I will be dealing with if I get this kit. what parts did you have left over that you didnt use??

No problem, i was desperately looking for pictures of this kit a while back so i know how much it helps. And the only extra pieces i used was the center ac vent surround, and the start button surround (really like this one.) Other than that there are a decent amount i didnt use. These include: door handle surround, glove box button cover, Steering wheel button surround on left and right side (you can see this in sffd's pics), inserts for the L symbol on the steering wheel, pieces that surround the entire radio unit, side ac vent surround, and a few other pieces i dont even know where they go lol.

Nice pics sleekbrian. It does help a lot to have the CF vinyl underneath when you have the red wood. Another thing to consider would be a glossy black vinyl (or paint for those that don't care about reversibility), that way you don't have contrasting CF patterns.
