Well you already agree that it will save u time and money so why not just trade it in and just take off all your aftermarket mods and transfer it over to your new car. It'll also save you a lot of headaches to. It's not like it would be a clean swap where its all plug and play.

Seriously, just trade it in if you really want the bigger motor. The hassle of getting your sister to sign the docs will be a lot less than the cost (labor, parts, depreciation, opportunity cost of time, etc.) of a motor swap. Besides, depending on your state laws, you should be able to have a notorized copy mailed/shipped instead of having her there in person. Worst case scenario, she'll have to visit you on a weekend or something.

I could only see an engine swap like this being worth it would be if you were able to get the 350 motor for cheap, was able to do the swap by yourself or for extremely low cost, and planned to keep the car pretty much forever (because of the big depreciation hit).

you'll be very lucky if you can find someone that'll pay more for that. Don't waste your money adding mods just sell your car as is.

If you had to have the loan co-signed then you are/were probably over your head. Stop putting money into the car. You will never get out what you are putting in. Save your cash and in a few years buy another car. It seems like you are heading for a vicous cycle on the 250. Cars depreciate by the minute and modifications accelerate the loss. I hate to sound negative but am being as honest as I can be. I think your 250 with a 350 motor will be worth a lot less than your 250 as is.
