My friends and I bought these 7.5w high power LEDs for DRLs and foglights.
It's true that LEDs are not useful for driving, but strictly for aesthetics.
They looked great once installed, would highly recommend these to you.
I am very impressed with them and the colour output is very much like HIDs, between 6000k to 7000k.
PM me if you have questions about them =)

I bought the 9005 7.5w LEDs for my DRLs and there is only a very slight flickering. I can only see it if I park in front of my garage door and stare at it for 1 minute. It's actually not that noticeable, so I didn't bother with the decoder or module. If you were driving your car on the road during the day, I highly doubt others will notice.
Please note that many people have the flickering, from what I believe, is because they were not using the 7.5w LED, but instead the 1210-68 LED design. Maybe the 7.5w LED design doesn't show the flickering much because it is much better in terms of power output and the way the circuit is designed, producing a more concentrated light pattern than the 1210-68 LED.
The 1210-68 LED is an old design and not too many people go with them once they try the 7.5w and they are totally blown away by how good the 7.5w LED look.
I also have it on my 2nd car, 2010 RX350 with no DRL module, very happy with them.
