I found that the amber leds are not bright enough during the daytime so I went back to the regular incandescent bulbs but kept them as 7443 so they are low yellow as DRL and bright 20W yellow when signaling. Can you post a video of the LEDs signaling during the day time? I think yours might be a better design than the V-Leds.

I plan to install (60 smd) dual color in the middle (like amber turn signal / drl white) and 13 smd white on the inside corner (as drl). the drl work only by day.

Yeah I'll try and take a vid tomorrow. They're decently bright during the day. I noticed that v-LEDs is now carrying the 60 led instead of the 48. Debating buying a set and trying them out.

Cool. Nice job btw. Not many would try to do this.

Yes, you have to remove the bumper to get to the turn signals.

There is no specific DRL wire, it's just the high beam wiring.

Oops, there's my license plate on there...I trust the fine people of this forum though

The iPhone makes the white led look greenish though, they are pure white in person.

I did not hook into the DRL on my car because they are disabled. I wired mine into the city lights. If you want them always on I would tap into an ignition power source.
