I am glad that I did not put everything back together. Driving to work this evening and attempted to see if NAV is still working. NAV screen shows me in Down town where I work while be in the NW of the valley. I think it is not picking up the GPS signal. I will try cycling the NP-TV switch to see if it RESETS. DON'T UNDERSTAND...everything was working just fine.

glad to hear cuz i was going to secretly mount the TV switch somewhere now I'll make sure to leave outside along with the navi bypass. I'm not sure where u placed the ground. Let us know so we can mimic your setup.

Imagine sitting in the driver seat. Next to your right leg underneath the dash is a small black Phillips head screw that holds up one corner of your driver side footwell light. Remove screw and the one on the left side then you can drop that piece down. You will see a 10 mm bolt screwed into a metal bracket. The ground length is perfect to attach there.

Remember to Daisey Chain it =0)

I connected the NAV/Hack first then the DVD hack right behind it

I grounded mine using the TOP RIGHT SCREW that holds the radio in place

I Tucked away the DVD Hack and left it on TV mode and not NAV MODE

and I mounted the Nav hack button below as you can see in the pic above. push it once it freeze the GPS or (Pauses) it I shall say
and everything else is operational for your desire =0) love it..

cool....Happy to hear you had no problems.

I cycled the NP-TV switch several times. NAV did not update my current position

I disconnected the negative battary cable. Did not update my current position

Finally pulled out the lexus repair manual out. I placed the nav unit in "check Mode" page NS-27. Followed the instructions....don't know what in the hell i did BUT it update my new position and op's ck good. LoL

Thank You Jesus!!!!

Okay....Finnished working on the install last night.

Here our the PIC's of where I decided to mount the PUSH button switch. The other ( NP-TV) switch is hidden. I secured the slider switch with a zip tie by placing in over the slider portion.

Pics our with the Steering Column extended (car on) and retracted (car off).

Also with Pic of wipers switch in full down and NORM positions.

Just did my install but haven't tried DVD yet. It took me a bit over an hour, the worst part is getting out the center vent. Mine is always a struggle. Other than that this is an easy mod. Next up is changing the switches over to something more OEM. Thanks for the DIY!!
