Default Replacing front tires IS350

Is there any issue with only replacing front set of tires on a 2008 is350 rwd? My rears are fine but the front ones are bald on the edge. Can I intermix brands or front and rear need the same tread pattern?

Thanks

Inner edge or outer edge?

Mixing tire brands, not a good idea. Tire rack's expaination - http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete...&AID=10398365&

I had the same issue but with outer edge. Got new tires and an alignment, so hopefully it will be fine now.

Yeah the inner edge is apparently caused by toe in and I would believe is also the camber. An alignment shop would need to do some adjusting to prevent to stop or minimize it.

I just did that. I figured that they are different sizes so they don't match anyway.
