Another spacer supporter here .

I had hubcentric generic no name eBay 20mm spacers on my daily driven IS for 4 months, zero issues. Just took them off recently so I could fit some wider tires & neither show any cracks/signs of damage.

You are brave with some eBay brand. People are having issues with reputable brands and you are rolling with some no name brand from China.

Yeah ok, thousands of people use these with no problem, and YOU just happen to have a problem, so of course it's the spacers' fault!

Come on, use class 8 studs and torque it down to spec, not just get china type bolts and crank it down to whatever with a lug wrench.

Buy wheels that have the correct offset and you won't have to use wheel spacers. Any time you introduce a piece that has the opportunity for failure you are taking a risk. If the wheel you like doesn't come in the correct offset its not the right wheel for your car.

Everything is at risk for failure, even stock wheels and studs. Not buying a set of wheels just because you're afraid to run spacers... More wheels options for everyone else I guess.
