Default How to remove side Roof molding trim???

Im going to carbon fiber my roof with a 3m vinyl and I want to cover the molding trims on both sides how do i remove them because I want to do them separate from the roof so it looks cleaner. Plz and Thank you!

I haven't done it personally, but have been told you just pull up on them from the front of the car going back, very gently. They're held in by clips.

yes they are just held in place with clips, just get a panel poper and insert it on the side with the door open and pry gently. sometimes the clips will stay on the body. if they do just remove them with pliers and reinsert them in the trim.

Those clips are pretty much non-reusable. Just pull up on the trim and the clips will break free. Just make sure you don't break the trim itself.
