A Mad Man and his IS350
Hey Everyone
First off - GO H TOWN!
I am the ecstatic owner of a brand spankin new Tungsten Pearl 2011 IS350 F Sport w/ Nav. I must say it is one hell of a beast. Awesome balance between power, aggressive appearance, and luxury!
Alittle car history. I drove a 2004 Totoyta Carmy LE before my IS. Had 175000~ miles on it and it was still running great besides the tranny which started giving me whiplash when it switched gear, time to trade in and trade up. I looked at everything Infiniti, BMW, Merc, Hyundai, Shelby (Insane car but not for me), etc etc you know the story there and who woulda thought, LEXUS WINS!
Ever since I found CL about 2 weeks after I got my car I have been addicted to it. Modding IS the new cocaine! (pun intended) I thought man my 350 is awesome, but you know what, a unqiue 350 would be Priceless (at least to me)! The skys parted and hath the bold of lightning had enlightened me, let the modding began. I am going to be going at this conservatively, the anticipation keeps you on the edge you know, plus these things just take time to complete.

#0 : Had this one already - Escort Passport iQ Radar/GPS - Best thing I have ever spent a dime on and I would recommend Escort to anyone, it has saved me 10’s of thousands so far as this is my 3rd Escort
#1 : 8000k Xtreme HID Fog Lights
#2 : Putco LED Interior Lights - White
#3 : Putco LED Puddle Lights - Blue
#4 : Hella Supertones - Giggity
#5 : F Sport Sway Bars - (Best one so far) - From Sewell
#6 : ISF Steering Dampener - Best bang for your buck ever - Sewell
#7 : F Sport Exhaust - Sewell
#8 : Window Tint - Not sure what % it is, I had the dealer do it since it came with a 4 year warranty and I’ve had bad experience with tint in the past.
#9 : F Sport Rear Badge - The awesome part is that the color matches TP almost perfectly!
Future Mods :
F Sport Intake - Ordered this a few days ago - should be here tomorrow!! Keep an eye out for pics comming soon!
Invidia Midpipe / PPE Headers - Haven’t decided between Invidia Midpipe or PPE Headers yet, price on the invidia is nice and its an easy install, PPE headers just sound so awesome though. If anyone has either or these i’d really like to hear them in person before making a decision
Coilovers - Kinda leery on this one, some of the roads down here in Houston can get really bumpy at times and I don’t particularly wanna bottom out all the time. Thinking maby 15/20mm spacers to trick your mind to think its lower any thoughts on this?
Painted Calipers - Was thinking maby USB (custom made color kit from G2) with Silver L Lexus decal since the car is TP or a Sunset Orange Pearl as Orange is my favorite color
Roof Spoiler - Prolly the Jun but it does look sick enough without it
Who knows what else will come in the future!
