Rear Bumper Cover Replacement 08' IS350.
#18
I can be certain that, the price from the dealership is unpainted. I was recently been hit while somebody backed up into my car in a parking lot. It was there fault but the lexus dealership gave me a quote for it to be repaired came to a total of 690$ i just got the check mailed in for 780$, but want to take the car to the dealership again so they can give me a quote to replace the bumper. Its a new car has a good crack in it, i would like for it to be replaced so it doesn't hurt to try. If they allow it the insurance will mail me an additional 400$. Because I talked to the guys at my local dealer and for a 2011 Is250 rear bumper cost 400.37$ without paint , by looking at my quote just to get my bumper repaired it shows 358$ alone for 5.1 hrs of Paint Labor and 5.1 hrs for Paint Supplies. So the total from our dealership is going to be a bit pricey. Knowing that Sewell does it cheaper i might do it myself and keep the extra money. But my damage is so minor i don't need to repair it , just the reflector that cost 57$. With my luck somebody will hit me again. =[ I looked on the sewell website but doesn't allow me to select color choice?

Just asking because I got rear ended by a 16yo girl, and although it was at a VERY VERY low speed and it's just one hole...I'm still leaning towards getting a new bumper.

I'm also looking at replacing my rear bumper in the next few weeks... Can anyone confirm if the replacement painted bumper from Sewell comes with the reflectors already attached? The parts schematic on their website does not show a separate part number for them so I'm inclined to assume it is already part of the painted bumper. The base part number is 52159.
Thanks!

time to revive this old thread lol but i got in a mini accident where my friend parked his stickshift car behind my car and he accidentally stalled and hit mine. I might need a new bumper. The price from Sewell is great but the $170ish shipping cost really killed it ( soooo sad. $537 before shipping and $710 shipped.
