Yea, those are tight. I used an impact gun but not everybody has one of those. I would be wary of using a blowtorch to heat it up because of the bushings.

Try using a pipe inserted into the breaker bar to increase it's length. Yea, kinds ghetto but it has gotten the job done in the past when I lacked more tools.

Use a thicker and longer bar. If it wasn't for my impact gun, I would use the long handle of the 3 ton craftsman jack attached to the 1/2" wrench.

Another option could be to try loosen the nut side rather than the bolt side

For the price of having a shop do the spring install you could probably buy yourself a compressor and impact wrench.

I have a compressor and impact wrench. Prob was two lca bolts on one side wouldn't budge. And one on the other side wouldn't budge either. I used a impact wrench breaker bar whole can of pb blaster and still no luck. So yeah salt from the winters here in Ohio must have really seized that on. My only options really is to cut the bolt and that's even a pain plus I don't have the tools to cut nor the patience. So yep shop it is

I soaked my bolts with liquid wrench and just used my ratchet with the jack handle over the end and through some muscle on it...

You could have someone else grab the bolt and go the opposite direction of what your turning, that will help you break it loose.

-- edit just saw you were from Ohio - yeah... good luck, i had issues years ago with breaking the bolts on my integras exhaust and no chance after a few Ohio winters those *****es were SEIZED for sure!!

Didn't hurt anything. Stupid responses just aren't needed when people are tryin to seek help on car forums.
