Dont want to remove my tinted tail lights..
Hey guys. I haven't posted on here in forever but I was curious if you guys could help me out here. I am from STL, MO and I have to get my car inspected for safety/emissions and **** but I don't want to have to remove my tinted tail lights in order to pass it. Are there any ways I can pass it without having to remove the tint? Such as visiting a specific place? Any of you guys have experience with that? I would have posted this in the regional forums but there's hardly anyone from STL on these forums. Thanks guys!

Honestly, I think your best bet is to borrow someones normal tail lights. Get inspected and flip em back over.
Back in the IL "no window tint" days I had so many pictures of my SC without tint that the two times I got a ticket, I would just show one of those pictures corresponding with the current season and be like. "all gone..." Now it doesn't matter.
Back in the day you could toss the emissions guy a $20 and he would make your no catalytic converter modded car pass... But not the case anymore.

I personally live in NC where its illegal as well. I took it to my local shop, didn't mention my tail lights, came back in an hour and it was passed. It just depends where you take it, find a sketchy looking shop and go for it!
